My first card

Betty had her birthday last month and all she wanted was her friends to make a card or something and send it to someone who needed it. I picked a friend on yahoo group that has cancer and having a bad go of it. As you know cancer is close to my heart as I'm doing chemo right now again breast cancer for the 3rd time. Here is the first ever card making. I don't like making cards hubby said he thinks cause they are so small I live working on layouts. So here is the picture it is a magnet closer tag and i just added stamping and paper and a stamper I'm not that either have lots of stamps but never what I think I wanted to use so I have cabinet full of unused stamps.

My new knee

After years of trying to find a dr I finally gave up and went to the main place for knee replacements and they said yes i needed both my knees done. So i had my first one done on the 7th of Dec. I'm doing pretty well with it they say i'm way ahead of most people. I also went to my cancer dr and he found a lump in my breast area again so i will be having surgery again soon. I will be cancer free in March 4 years and I hope to be able to make that statement then.

sorry I'm not blogging not such good news to post. My daughter lost the twins back in May and it's been a tough time for us all. My daughter went back to use her frozen eggs but they were poor quality. She is doing a live cycle again in Nov and are hoping for the best. I'm trying to get back into scrapbooking again trying to get my room in order, moved in some table and rubber stamp draws. I have over bought and no place to put stuff and it's keeping me from getting out there and getting stuff done. Hubby also had a heart attack in March no it's been slow going for us here. I need so relaxing time now so trying to get my room going again.

My mom passed away in OCT very hard shock she wasn't sick. It's been very hard so I haven't done anything on my blog. Now I have some good news my oldest daughter is going to have a baby after 2 1/2 years of trying and first time IVF did it, she goes to the dr on the 18th. So I will have something to post about now. I fell sat hurt my hand and thought it was broken but report came back today that it's not, good thing cause it was my right hand and it's been hard since saturday for sure.

I hope to get back to doing some things now that it's cooler only in the 80's and 90's now. Was going to go motorcycle riding yesterday but hubby friend wanted him to go to OKC and I will not drive in the traffic so I stayed home. MY mom came down while I was making bread and we had a nice visit. Talked about my sperm donor of a dad (who is dead now) the man had 5 kids from two marriages and he and his family had denied us all our lives, there loss just made me mad that on his death certificate it says never married when he was married twice. I have a wonderful father who took a woman in with 4 girls and raised us as his own, I never missed or lacked for a father to my wonderful father Burnie who is no longer with us I miss him each day.

hope it will make him feel better only had his front teeth and one went bad so he couldn't use his plate so he said take them all out well it was 8 of them. I think he thought it was going to be a piece of cake men lol. He is doing better today off riding his bike he has to prove he it won't stop him from biking lol. Nothing else going on getting ready to bake bread again once I get to the store, back is hurting. My oldest comes home tonight from Grand Cayman can't wait till she is safe back home. She has been married two years man time flies.

It was great I was so proud of Megan she was a little nervous in the lobby but as soon as we got to walking it was movie movie lol. If it wasn't for the 30 minutes of movie previews and all that stuff it would have been great the last 15 minutes she had to get up so I took her to the front roll on the carpet so she could jump lol there was only two other families there watching the show. She laughed had fun we all were grinning lol. Then off to eat lunch at Wendy's A&W was to full. He took two bites of Chicken and two fries and no bites of Wendy's frosty. She ate her kids pack of skittle and one bite of popcorn but dug into gg (my mom) junior mints lol.
Then it was time to go home well she was having no part of getting into mom's car she came in my van to eat, she said I'm going with grandma I want my seat in grandma's car. So of course I told her grandma wasn't going to her house (we met in a town about an hour drive for me and 30 minutes from there house) I told her I was going home she said to my house grandma I ride with you, so you guess where I went lol. How could I turn down those tears and it was so hot and I knew she was going to win, so off we went two minutes after we got on the toll road she was out like a light lol. So then we spend the rest of the day playing, painting and just goofing off tell her daddy I'm calling the cops on you lol he was grabbing her as she was walking by and it was so funny he was eating a burger and grabbed for her and his chair turned over we laughed so hard lol. It was a great day and I got to take my grand daughter to her first movie oh we ask ice age I told her there was going to be some big dinosaur and she said I like them lol she already had the white dinosaur from McD in a happy meal I took her.

Well after months and months

of not ride my motorcycle the weather has cooled off so last night I went for a 18 mile bike ride, I got my bike legs back so today we went for a longer right up to can't lake. I think it was about 60 miles round trip. There was only one time I had a ruff take off didn't fall or nothing just had to keep putting my feet down. My husband gets so mad at me cause I do a one foot take off. I tried the two foot but the bike dies. Let's just say this woman has to do it her way I hop off with my foot lol. It was so nice around the lake drive on thunder road took camera but we didn't stop and take pictures came back on thunder road twice had lunch at the overlook cafe. Then came back on a road I told him I never wanted to drive on it's a 70 mile hour and the truck just blow you off the road, when we got home I told him I told you when I first started riding I didn't want to ride on that road, he said well you've done it now so no big deal men just one truck passed me. It was a nice day maybe tomorrow we will go again.

It was great we took Megan and her daddy fishing her is a picture of her with her new Dora fishing pole that grandma got her, she loves the lake. All fireworks went off without any mishaps. Megan hated them again this year maybe next year will be better she would look out the window and watch them. I will up load more pictures later when I get the new computer.

My oldest got a new computer for Christmas and was giving her old one to the youngest daughter and she turned it down and wants me to have it, they know I live on my computer I will be so happy I can get back to using my Cricut again on the computer. I will be able to upload stuff again email yea.

I computer hit the dust it is so upsetting that you pay so much money for these things and they don't last even two years. So much money down the drain I guess they get you hooked and know you will keep paying to get a new one, but I haven't made up my mind to to so. I am using a computer that has to be over 10 years old why don't they make them like that, oh I guess they can't suck the dollars out of you if they do. $500. for one year use of a computer just don't sound good to me at this time plus the fee for being online. Can you tell I'm mad disussed.

i went to see my grand daughter yesterday and stayed late to pick my sister up at the airport she went to see her son hadn't seen him in over 5 years. Well I get to the airport before her flight was due the board said arrived well she never came out the gate, I panic (she is visual impaired) running all over the place that the guard tells me to go and no one there, airports at 9pm have no one working there. I finally find and info desk (she isn't answering her cell phone) she said does she have a cell phone yes I called it no answer. So she puts out a on the look out. I call her ex husband and he said I'm sorry it's tomorrow night shes coming home not tonight. Now I booked her flight so why didn't I know this so I go back tonight to pick her up. She called me cause I left her a voice mail I'm hear I can't find you. So she said what are you doing in WA I laughted said no I'm home I went to the airport last night to get you so we had a good laugh.

I took two and made it to hold my cricut carts and books. It held all my carts but it took two of the bigger tops for the books and I couldn't get the overlays in there so I just laid them in the bottom smaller one. I have been thinking about tearing the other language out of the books and see if that would make it thinner. I saw someone else did it and just wonder if it would work.

I took my mom fishing Friday I caught one little perch, she hasn't been fishing in so long. She didn't get to fish at the lake last weekend on our mini vacation. It was a great place to rent, we had so much fun and so did Megan. Oldest daughter rented a boat and we went around the lake for 3 hours Megan loved it. Will post some pictures later.

Scraproom

I have been changing the garage into a scraproom gosh for 4 years or so now. We moved in with mother in law when she got sick, sold our home she only lived a few months after doing so. Then hubby got cancer then I got cancer, well this week we have made big moves took out the work bench and then rebuilt it in his new garage. Got my two tables in now I have a cutting table and a stamping table yes. I'm moving along. It will be slow going cause now my knee shots for the pain are wearing off next month time for shots again so I'm in a lot of pain. But I can do a little at a time, I hope to get it all done this month. Would like to paint but just don't have it in me to do so.

I finished up my first tear bear but it wasn't a bear it was a rabbit lol. Didn't know it would take so long for it to dry from the water to tear it.
I'm off tonight to get my school bus license renewed I don't want to loose them just in case I will need to go back to work. It's just one night every five years I still do sub for free when they can't get anyone else and in really big time trouble getting the kids home. I know I can't do it in the morning just to early for me to get up and take care of my Lymphedema now since the breast cancer. So I will be studying tonight so send out good vibes I pass the test again.

My oldest sister came up and we too my mom out to eat, she seemed to have fun. I got her a new sister and made her a card (for got to take a picture just a very quick simple on remember I'm not a card maker) but she thought it was real nice just used the CB embossing folder on it and ribbon. It has been raining so much I'm ready to build an ark. Nothing much else going on have to get some things out for a swap I'm in. Oh and this week have to go back to School bus driving school I'm keeping my cert just in case.

I have been resting all week after the big party of my sister's 50th wedding anniversary. Took my sis that had the heart by pass four weeks ago to the dr and get my port flush yesterday, then went to visit my nephew that came in from NY for awhile. I'm going to up load a few pictures. The next morning mom my woke up with a black eye guess someone hugged her to tight lol.

I have been so tired this week I just can't hardly put one foot in front of the other one. I got a swap in the mail today was might be late, I just couldn't get it finish up. Will be going to sister's 50th wedding anniversary party saturday and have family coming in from NY to CA will be a good get together for sure. Well I'm off to have some coffee just got my mom back for the beauty shop. I went yesterday and got my hair cut, I'm going back to my wig I have no hair it just hasn't came back after chemo and keeps falling out what has came back in.

I now have no more days at work yes I am fully retired. I can now spend more time on my scrapbooking if I can just get by butt of this computer lol. Here is a layout I did this week of course of my sweetie. This is the first stamping I have done well second try I'm not show the first try. I stamped under the pictures it's hard to see and then on the tag. I wrote a person note to Megan inside the stamped tag covered for her to see later in life.

Haven't been able to do much but sit. I fell on the 8th trip to the ER and cracked two ribs and have been in some pain. Went back to the dr this week and said it might take a month of heal oh joy joy. I did a layout tonight will share it soon as I get the picture taken. Dave has been sick to he woke up and was doing the bowl hug he just hates that, he's sore today for all the heaving.
I think we both are ready for the old folks home. I hope to get back into scrapbooking again big time so far behind.

Another one of my baby. I went to pick her up at daycare yesterday and she just came running to me and laugh so loud, it had been over two weeks since we saw each other and I think we were both just excited to see each other. We went shopping at walmart to buy groceries for supper she said in the cart and would stack the cans up till they fell over, she is just a joy I tell you.

okay my nails have been so bad since my chemo they have never came back right and slip right down the middle, so i decided to help my self to some fake nails here they are just got them today. Makes me feel better already now my hair is the next deal. I'm going back to my wig till I find something for that problem. They say you have to go back every two weeks well I hope not cause I don't want to spend 50 bucks on nails a month.

You won't believe I started in the scraproom cleaning a little. I'm going to do this little by little and hope to get everything in it's place. I haven't seen my moosie (grand daughter) in almost two weeks. This is the longest time for me not to see her, her daddy has been real sick and I had something so I stayed away, so hope to see her this weekend sometime.
It has been so nice here and now the cold front is coming and the wind is gusting up to 50 miles and hour. We broke a record today for being so warm 73 degrees now it's down to 43. I missed the sales this week and Mike's and Hobby Lobby so nothing new to play with, oh I did get a big kick this week. So hope to get to use that this week sometimes. All my distressed inks came in also still need the handle thing for the pads hoped to get that this week but didn't make it to OKC, so that will be a future buy. Not much else going on really a boring life lol.

Today Renee called and said that sometime durning the night Megan had gotten up and put her shoes on. Now the thing wrong with these they didn't match and one shoe was like 3 sizes to small and her big toe looked like a prune when they took the shoe off. She is so funny never know what that girl is going to do or say.
